Romuald Erenc graduated from the Academy of Musik Lodz in the class of the guitar. He completed his postgraduate studies at the Bundesakademie fur Musikalische Jugenbildung in Trossingen, Germany. He perfected his skills during numerous master classes domestically and abroad. Romuald Erenc is doing a solo and chamber concert schedule in Poland and outside for some dozen years. He played in the duo Entrácte with Lodz Philharmonics flautist Urszula Urbaniak. Together, they recorded music by Ravel, VillaLobos, Domeniconi, and other twentieth century composers. He was also the founder of the Antrácte Ensemble, with which he released a CD with music by Schubert and Matiegka.
Romuald Erenc made his first recording in Poland of XVI century lute music. R. Erenc has cooperated with several Philharmonic orchestras nationwide. He is also involved in jazz projects. Romuald Erenc is a docent at the Educational and Artistic Department of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. He cooperated with a magazine of musicians “Classical and Acoustic Guitar World", where he published articles concerning the classical guitar. He is an author of numerous arrangements and editions for guitar and chamber ensembles.
The Music Press publishing house issued his translations and edition of guitar method written by prof. Dieter Kreidler, which was brought out in Western Europe by Schott and Sons. He made several TV and radio recordings. Romuald Erenc is the composer of several guitar pieces. His music is used as soundtrack in two movies.
